30 Places to Find 100% Free Stock Photos
Finding images for your blog posts can be a difficult venture. I know because I've been there. You know that images pull your website together and finding the right ones is very important. When you look for images to use, you repeatedly come across websites that charge per picture or force you to buy many credits to purchase ONE photo. It's not like that all over the web. Sometimes, if you look really hard, you can find things that really are free. Thankfully, you have me to help you. Aren't you lucky? First I am going to tell you about the stock photo sites that I know and use often!
Top 5 Stock Photo Sites
Unsplash
Unsplash is my favorite source of beautiful stock imagery. They have over 200,000 free (do whatever you want) high-res photos from amazingly talented and generous photographers.*
Pexels
I use Pexels in my own projects. They have many different types of images and are an incredible resource. They pull from other sources so it's my go-to. All photos are under the Creative Commons Zero license so do with them what you will!
Pixabay
Pixabay is very similar to Pexels and also has a vast collection of beautiful stock photos. I alternate between Pixabay and Pexels when I need to find images for my blogs. You can even search by media type, orientation, color, and dimensions.
Resplashed
I've just discovered this one but I am very happy with the content. There are so many images I was unable to get to the bottom of the page. You won't be disappointed with the myriad of styles and photos.
StockSnap
This is a recent add to my list having just discovered it. I found that I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of pictures they had. Many were colorful and memorable. Things I would definitely look for reasons to use.
* Unsplash used to not have a search feature and I am so happy that they do now! Enjoy being able to locate gorgeous pictures!
